Vaccination certificates

If you're traveling through some dodgy areas, you may need to be vaccinated against all sorts of nasties like malaria, yellow fever or typhoid.

To find out what you'll need to guard against, go to the World Health Organisation's excellent guide on the potions, lotions, jibs and jabs that'll keep you out of the sick bay.

Remember: some immunisations take time to become effective and others have to be given separately so make it a priority when you start planning your trip.

Keep the certificates you'll get when you're immunised with your passport – some countries demand them before they'll let you in.
