Specifications for submissions

We would very much like to see your work, if you would like to submit an article/s in any of the following areas:-

• News Story   200-250 words (this can be any issue on campus or otherwise relevant to the student population)
  
  
• News briefs: 70 words
  
  
• Topical Feature:  1100 words (+ information box with bullet points if you can)
  
  
• Interviews: no more than 800 words (eg. Celebrity, politicians etc, you can interview your Dean/Chancellor about campus issues if you want!)
  (once you have established a credible reputation with Sugar Media, I can help arrange to set up interviews)
  
  
• Arts Review (Film, Live Gig, CD, Theatre, Sports etc) – 150/200 words + pic of CD sleeve, artist, live gig etc
  
  
• Blogger/Column/Opinion piece: 600-700 words. Provocative, lively, witty, cutting edge, informative. (we are still searching for the new Julie Burchill!!)
  
  
• Society News & Events – report on any student events (500 words approx)
  
  
• Photos/Photospread – any photos (keep ‘em relatively clean!) of student activities events etc. (scanned to 300dpi)
  
  
• Anything else you feel will be of interest to the student population.
  
  
• Picture-byline: I would like to give all Campus Correspondents a picture by-line – so please email a “mug/face shot” of yourself if you can.
  
  
• Pics: Please also supply pics to go with any article you provide.
