Reverend Jackson to Tour UK
The NUS Black Students' Campaign is part of the Equanomics UK coalition to campaign on wage inequalities, international trade policies, the impact of credit, loans and debts, and the impact of poverty on social conditions such as health, housing and education.
In conjunction with this, the Rev Jesse Jackson will be visiting the UK on a five day, nine city tour to help the 1990 Trust launch its new initiative in the UK.
The Commemorative tour will also mark the contributions of Black communities to the making of modern Britain and will visit 9 regions including Bristol, London, Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield and Bradford.
The London event will be on August 22nd from 6pm until 8.30pm at Westminster Hall, Lomdon.
To attend any of the other regional community events, interested parties must register on line.
You can do so by visiting the Equanomics website at www.equanomics.org.uk.
