Graduate Careers:

Introduction:

Where do we go from here?

You’re on course for that First, but it’s in history or philosophy. What does that say about you? You’re articulate, well read, can probably talk someone’s ear off and be as booksmart or streetwise as you need to be. But what career does that leave you with?

Below is an overview of all the great jobs and sectors out there. You should take a look, consider what talents your degree has left you with (even if your Bachelor doesn’t logically segue into any given career) and take stock.

Of course law students could end up going on to law school, or they might have the gift of gab and end up in recruitment. That drama graduate might have always had a thing for writing and wants to pursue a Journalism career.

As long as you can prove your skills, don’t be put off by your degree not being the most obvious choice for any given career. Be brave, browse and give it a try.
